Usually, these free mold removal estimates are accurate for minor to medium size mold remediation projects. If you feel your mold remediation project is large or complicated, we prefer to have one of our trained estimators visit you at the property. Usually this includes kitchen or bathroom mold removal projects where the issue may be behind the cabinets or tile.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I was thrilled by my experience with Mold Only and the owner RJ. I was having some moisture issues in my crawlspace, which resulted in mold under the house and some air quality problems in the house. I thought I could take care of it myself, but I eventually realized there was visible mold growing in a closet.

I was experiencing some health effects and did not want to risk going alone. I contacted Mold Only, and the owner RJ was able to arrive pretty quickly, which I appreciated. He even took his shoes off at the front door, which was an added sign of respect for my home. I usually have to ask people performing work at the house to wear booties. I didn’t have to do that with RJ.

He then investigated the area. He tested for humidity and moisture. He looked around the space and provided an assessment of what was going on. First, he offered incredible peace of mind because he was able to educate me that it was surface mold, which could cause allergy issues, but not more serious health problems. He helped me identify the root cause and advised what should be done to stop future mold once this mold was cleaned up.

Additionally, he was attune to the fact that I am a bit of a DIY person, so he gave me the option of steps I could take to remedy it myself. He also said he was more than happy to get his team in and do the work for me. He gave me a rough quote, but was straightforward and said that I could handle it myself simply if I was comfortable doing that.

It’s rare that you have a small business owner not pushing for his services because he owns authority over the situation. He built immediate trust with me. I feel so much better about the situation. I was able to follow the steps that he suggested, and my allergies are already improving. I’m working with a handyman to fix the area that’s causing the problem in the closet, which is not something I could handle myself (and is not a service Mold Only would’ve provided anyway).

I highly recommend this company and will be contacting them if I ever have mold issues in the future, or if any friends or neighbors ask me if I know a reliable and trustworthy mold remediation company.

They came in and got the job done in a week as quoted. We also had a few additional things that needed fixed and the team jumped right into it.
They did excellent work, were professional, responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire process. We received multiple quotes, and while Mold Only wasn't the lowest, the scope of work was significantly more comprehensive than the others. With mold remediation, I believe that the scope of the work is extremely important (having been through this before in another house). The overall quote was very reasonable given everything that was included/needed.

RJ from Mold Only came out to our home to help diagnose an awful musty odor that tends to fill the cabinets around our kitchen sink. He quickly inspected our dishwasher, the dry wall behind it, the base boards and cabinets. While his inspection didn't reveal we had mold (Thank goodness!) he did run an air quality for our peace of mind. They were at our home within 2 hours, assessed the situation, and provided an audit outlining what needed to be done to correct the problem.

The work began a couple of days later, and they thoroughly cleaned every vent and boot. Communication with the entire team was exceptional, and the price was very fair for remediating an issue that cannot be ignored.

Also, Mold Only prices are fair for the work they do, unlike other remediation companies around here.
